Barcelona legend Xavi has announced that he will be hanging up his football boots at the end of the season.
The 39-year-old Spanish midfielder decided to launch a new flight after his retirement and embark on a new training experience.
“This is my last football season, but I can not wait to see what the future holds for me in the world of coaching,” he said.
“My training style will be a reflection of what we learned from Johan Cruyff and Barcelona, and I like to watch the teams attack and have the advantage on the pitch.”
Xavi joined the Qatari Dam in 2015 after a long series of successes with Barcelona. These are his latest achievements with the Qatari leader, league champion last month.
