The International Football Federation (FIFA) has announced the nominees for “The Best” and the list of the top 3 players to win the World Player of the Year award.
The list included Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo, Barcelona captain Lionel Messi and Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk.

Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric won the award last year, while Cristiano Ronaldo won the award in 2016 and 2017.
