Spurs, under the guidance of Ange Postecoglou, have shown remarkable form this season, leading the charge for the Premier League title. It’s no surprise that the odds for a home win are decreasing.

Keep a close watch on the South Korean forward, Heung-Min Son, who secured a victory against Palace. Unfortunately, Ivan Perisic, Manor Solomon, Ryan Sessegnon, and Hugo Lloris are still in the recovery room, but Destiny Udogie is expected to be fit for the match.

On the other hand, Chelsea disappointed in a 2-0 loss to Brentford. With new manager Mauro Pochettino yet to find the ideal starting lineup, it might be wise to bet on the league leaders.

Good news for the away team, as both Mykhailo Mudryk and Enzo Fernandez should be fit for the local derby.

Team News:

Tottenham’s boss, Postecoglou, faces a dilemma at left-back for the capital showdown. Destiny Udogie missed the win over Palace due to a knock sustained against Fulham, while his replacement, Ben Davies, left the field at half-time with an ankle injury. Davies is unlikely to make the cut, but Udogie is progressing in his recovery and has a chance of being involved. Emerson Royal will step in as a makeshift left-back if neither player passes their late fitness tests.

Ivan Perisic (knee), Manor Solomon (knee), Alfie Whiteman (ankle), and Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) are still recovering from surgery. Postecoglou also faces a key decision in the attack, as Brennan Johnson set up Son’s goal against Palace shortly after replacing Richarlison.

Pochettino and Postecoglou share left-back concerns, as Ben Chilwell needs more time to recover from a thigh issue. Additionally, Romeo Lavia (ankle), Wesley Fofana (knee), Christopher Nkunku (knee), Trevoh Chalobah (thigh), and Carney Chukwuemeka (knee) will miss the match. However, there is hope that Mykhaylo Mudryk will recover in time to be involved, though Armando Broja (knee) is likely to be on the bench.

Chelsea’s head coach is cautious about Reece James, who played 61 minutes in the win over Blackburn. Axel Disasi could be deployed at right-back as Badiashile retains his central position alongside the returning Thiago Silva.
