Inter Milan announced the renewal of the Slovakian international contract Milan Skriniar, until 2023.
“Together we are stronger, Milan Skriniar and Inter have the same goals, which is why the Slovak defender’s contract was extended until 30 June 2023,” the club said on its official website.
Skriniar joined Inter in the summer of 2017 from Sampdoria.
With this contract, Inter have cut the way for the big clubs that were interested in the Slovak defender, most notably Real Madrid, Manchester United and Man City.
He has played 44 Serie A matches in all competitions and has made two goals.
He said he was happy to renew his contract with Nerazzurri.

“I am happy and proud that I will wear this shirt for three more seasons,” said Skriniar, in comments to Sky Sport Italia.
“We have separated from my agent and personally negotiated with the club,” he said, adding: “We are one win away from the Champions League, which is the most important thing for us. We want to be better next season.”
“I have not scored a goal this season, I hope to do so in the next two games, I miss it, that will give me more confidence.”
Inter Milan are third on the table with 66 points and need only 3 points to secure the Champions League.
