Real Madrid Captain Sergio Ramos has completely denied claims that he fizzled a doping test preceding his side’s triumph over Juventus in the Champions League last a year ago.
A report from German daily paper Der Spiegel asserts that Ramos tried positive for Dexamethasone, a mitigating drug which is restricted by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
It is claimed that the 32-year-old had two infusions of Dexamethasone in his knee and shoulder the day preceding confronting Juve, which is allowed insofar as doping control are told, yet Madrid’s group specialist did not proclaim it to UEFA.
