The Paris St Germain have begun a plan to protect their star from Real Madrid’s ambitions next summer, a Spanish press report said on Wednesday.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, Saint Germain started the renewal negotiations with his young star Kélien Mbabé, to protect him from moving to Real Madrid in the Mercato next summer.
The Spanish newspaper pointed out that Saint Germain wanted to end the attempts of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to attract Kilian Mbabi to Santiago Bernabeu.
Saint Germain, the Frenchman, is making a big pay rise to sign a new contract and confirm his stay with the Paris club.
St Germain has signed Mbabi from Monaco for 180 million euros, but the current market value of the player is 200 million euros.
