Arsenal’s Czech international goalkeeper Petr Cech (36) will retire at the end of the season, after twenty seasons as a professional, he announced Tuesday.
“This is my twentieth season as a professional player and it’s been twenty years since I signed my first professional contract, so it’s a good time to announce that I will retire at the end of this season,” tweeted the player.

“After playing 15 years in the Premier League and winning every possible trophy, I feel I have achieved all my goals, and I will continue to work hard at Arsenal to win one more trophy this season, I can not wait to see what life has for me outside the field, “he added.
Cech arrived in the Premier League in 2004. After eleven seasons at Chelsea, he had signed to Arsenal in 2015. He won four league titles and a Champions League with the “Blues”.
