Official: Arsenal confirm Unai Emery has left the club

Unai Emery has been sacked by Arsenal following last night’s shambolic Europa League defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The decision came after Arsenal failed to qualify for the last 16 of the Europa League, losing 2-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt.

But the loss postponed the decisive and added to the discontent of fans of the “gunners” who demanded the departure of coach Unai Emery and raised the banners of “Emery out.”

They have not won their last seven games in various competitions, their worst series since 1992.
