Bournemouth sign striker Dominic Solanke from Liverpool

Bournemouth have signed Dominic Solanke from Liverpool for £19m on a long-term deal.

The 21-year-old had attracted interest from Crystal Palace in recent weeks but after they cooled on a deal the Cherries moved in and an initial fee has been agreed, with extra payments factored in.

The player who won the U-20 World Cup did not have the chance to take part in the starting line-up of German coach Juergen Klopp, with the attacking trio of Salah, Mané and Firmino.

Liverpool bought Solanke from Chelsea in 2017 in a deal estimated at £ 3 million.

Dominic Solanke was at the head of former England manager Roy Hudson, Bournemouth’s current coach.
