Osasuna vs Getafe Prediction & Match Preview

03 April 2021 17:30 UK/ 18:30 CET La Liga Estadio El Sadar

Osasuna and Getafe take on each other at Estadio El Sadar in the La Liga round 29.

Los Rojillos have been struggling in front of goal of late, with the team failing to find the net in the previous three league fixtures.

Since under 2.5 goals have been netted in each of Osasuna’s last six league games, we are unlikely to see goals galore in Pamplona.

Jon Moncayola is banned for the hosts, while Sergio Herrera has been tested positive for coronavirus.

All Inigo Perez, Ruben Martinez, Facundo Roncaglia, and Jony remain in the recovery room. Los Azulones, on the other hand, have been playing below expectations in the 2020/21 season.

Since the capital club have been playing some low-scoring games of late as well, we are tempted to put our money on under 2.5 goals.

Both Cucho and Erick Cabaco are out of contention through injuries for the visiting team.

Team News:

Due to an injury to Jony and suspension for Jon Moncayola, Arrasate will be forced to rethink the shape of his side ahead of this weekend.

Ruben Garcia is likely to reclaim his spot in the starting 11 while veteran holding midfielder Manolin could deputise for the absent Moncayola.

If Avila is to feature at all, it will likely be from the bench.

Other absentees for Osasuna include Inigo Perez, Ruben and Facundo Roncaglia, all of whom are injured.

Against Elche, Bordalas opted for a more creative side with the likes of Carles Alena, Takefusa Kubo and Marc Cucurella all taking centre stage.

It is unlikely that Bordalas will tinker too much to his side ahead of this encounter.

The only absentee for Getafe is Erick Cabaco, who is out injured.
