Real Madrid vs Atalanta Prediction & Match Preview

Real Madrid

Atalanta

16 March 2021 20:00 UK/ 21:00 CET Champions League Estadio Alfredo di Stefano

Thanks to Mendy’s beautiful goal, Real Madrid defeated ten-man Atalanta 1-0 in Bergamo in the Champions League last 16, first leg.

Los Blancos are with one foot in the quarter-finals of the elite competition, but they can’t afford any complacency in Tuesday’s football match.

Casemiro remains sidelined through suspension, while Carvajal, Mariano, and Odriazola are all sidelined with injuries. Sergio Ramos, on the other hand, returns to the starting XI after overcoming his injury.

The Orobici, on the other hand, have no other choice but to adopt an attack-minded approach in the return leg.

Since Real Madrid will have a number of opportunities to score on the break, we believe that home win should be considered.

Freuler will have to serve his ban in Madrid, while Hateboer remains sidelined with a foot injury. The two teams meet for the first time ever in the Spanish capital.
