Fulham vs Leicester Prediction & Match Preview

Fulham vs Leicester
England Premier League
Date: Wednesday, 3 February 2021
Kick-Off at 18.00 UK
Venue: Craven Cottage, London.

After sharing the spoils with WBA in the relegation six-pointer at the weekend, Fulham will be looking to keep their survival hopes alive when they take on Manchester City on Wednesday evening.

The Cottagers are eyeing their first league win since November 30, 2020 when they defeated the Foxes on the road, and, no doubt, they are capable of matching Brendan Rodgers’ troops on home soil.

Both Cairney and Kongolo remain on the sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.

Leicester City, on the other hand, will be without top scorer Jamie Vardy in the midweek clash.

Since Nigeria international Wilfried Ndidi is sidelined with injury as well, we are tempted to put our money on the underdogs.

The Foxes failed to impress in a 3-1 loss to Leeds at the weekend, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered.

Team News:

Parker is unlikely to make many changes to the team which started the 2-2 draw at West Bromwich Albion.

Harrison Reed could be brought back into the side as a replacement for Mario Lemina, but Ivan Cavaleiro may have to make do with a spot on the substitutes' bench.

Ricardo Pereira is in line to make his first Premier League start of the season after Timothy Castagne sustained an injury against Leeds.

Wilfred Ndidi and Vardy are unlikely to be risked, meaning that Nampalys Mendy and Iheanacho could be given opportunities in the team.
