Valencia vs Sevilla Prediction & Match Preview

Valencia vs Sevilla
Spain – La Liga
Date: Tuesday, 22 December 2020
Kick-off at 16:30 UK/ 17:30 CET
Venue: Estadio de Mestalla.

Javi Gracia’s 2-2 draw away to Barcelona was almost symbolic of the way his season has gone. Excellent coaching let down by other people. Whether it be referees, his own players or his board selling half of his squad.

Regardless of that, Valencia are a good side to watch and continue to attack with a vigour and aggression. They come up against a Sevilla team who don’t necessarily do high-scoring games after a few seasons of fairly decent games.

However, in 12 La Liga games this season, they have only had three games have over 2.5 goals in them and in those three games, they all included one or more goals after the 85th minute.

This could be a game in which an attacking Valencia begin to feel the physical burn of midweek football against a side well suited to low-scoring games anyway. Therefore, an under 3.5 goals bet looks solid for this one.
