In the last nine months, Ronaldo has missed six matches since the World Cup last summer to ease his move to Juventus after moving from Real Madrid to around 100 million euros in the summer of 2018.

In his absence, Ronaldo's team-mates finished top of their group in the UEFA Nations League against Italy and Poland, qualifying for the "four rounds" scheduled between 5 and 9 June in Porto and Guimaraes in Portugal.
Portugal play Switzerland in the first semi-finals while the Netherlands play England in the second.
"Cristiano adds quality to any team," said Ronaldo's Juventus colleague Joao Cancello. "It's a pleasure to play with him and it's very important for us."
