Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte signs new two-year deal

Manchester City announced on Friday that they would renew their defender's contract until the summer of 2025.

The official website of Manchester City that the French Aymeric Laporte quickly proved its capabilities with the team after joining in January 2018, and therefore was renewed until 2025.

"I am very happy because of my future connection to Manchester City over the long term," Laporte said after the renovation. "I have been very comfortable with the coach and the players since the first day."

"The club offers everything I need to improve my level, and I want to continue to offer the best."

"Laporte is a great talent, and his best years in football are with Manchester City," said Manchester City football director Txiki Begiristain.

"We knew he had special abilities before we signed him last year, and he has improved a lot in recent months," he added.

"We want to make a young generation and Aymeric fit our plans, and his style suits Manchester City very much," said the manager.
