Ander Herrera wants new contract at Old Trafford as talks continue

Spanish midfielder Ander Herrera is expected to sign a new contract with Manchester United in the next few days.

This came according to the agency "Press Association", which confirmed that an agreement has been between the management of Manchester United and the Spanish player in the past few days and is scheduled to be activated soon.

Andre Herrera is happy with Manchester United and wants to stay with the Red Devils for as long as possible, the agency said.

Herrera joined Manchester United from Atletic Bilbao in 2014 and quickly proved his worth wearing the Red Devils shirt.

The contract ends with Manchester United at the end of the season, after the club's management has extended its contract for an additional season, as allowed in a previous clause in his contract signed in 2014.

The 29-year-old has been involved in 181 Manchester United matches with 19 goals and 27 Assists in all competitions.
