Philippe Coutinho 'wanted by PSG as part of transfer revenge against Barcelona'

Paris Saint-Germain has set up a plan to retaliate against Barcelona after the latter's success in signing Ajax's Frenkie de Jong.

Paris Saint-Germain wants to take revenge against Barcelona by using a contract-breaking weapon with Brazilian Philippe Coutinho, Radio Monte Carlo said.

Coutinho owns a contract with Barcelona on terms of up to 400 million euros and ends in 2023.

St Germain Neymar was snatched from Barcelona after the contract was annulled and € 222 million was paid to become the most expensive player in history.

Barcelona is also close to joining Adrien Rabiot of Paris St Germain for free after the end of the player's contract, another slap for the French team.

Press reports confirmed that Saint-Germain had tried to break the contract of Ivan Racic estimated 120 million euros and contracted with him last summer, but the Croatian refused to leave Barcelona.
