Marseille will miss the services of captain Dimitri Payet for three weeks because of Sunday’s knee injury during a league match against Caen, his team said.
Payet left the pitch just 26 minutes after the start of the match against Caen after a foul on defender Paul Baysse. “The midfielder underwent tests on his return to Marseille and was found to have a twist in the left side ligament” of his knee, his team said in a statement.
Best wishes, get well soon Captain! ⚪️?
